| The formally implemented standards in European at present: EN 197-1 Cement - Part 1: Composition, specifications and conformity criteria of common cements EN 197-2 Cement Conformity Evaluation Introduction: EN 197-1 EN 197-1: 200O regulates the composition, requirements and conformity assessment guidelines of general cement. According to the composition, cement is divided into 5 class altogether 27 kinds. According to the strength, cement is divided into 6 level and leads to the conception of active calcium oxide and active silica. It regulates that the sum of the mass fraction of active calcium oxide and active silica in cement should be more than 50%. As to the cement clinker, the proportion of silicate minerals (C2S and C3S) should be at least 2/3, the maxium of MGO should be no more than 5%. The codes of the 5 types of cement are as follows: CEMI Portland Cement CEMII Portland Composite Cement CEMIII Blast Furnace Cement CEMIV Ash cement CEMV Composite cement For all varieties of composition of cement, calcium for controling of sulfate condensation and supplements for improving the performance of cement could also be included. Calcium sulfate dehydrate gypsum can be not only natural, semi-water, gypsum, natural anhydrite, but also by-product from certain industrial production processes of calcium sulfate. The total weight of supplement could not be more than 1.0% of total that of cement, among which, the weight of organic supplement dry could not be more than 0.5% of weight of cement. If the supplement is concrete admixtures, it should mark the Standard Code of it. According to 28-day strength of cement concrete, it can be divided into three level: 32.5, 42.5 and 52.5. According to the early strength (2 days or 7 days) of each class, it can also be divided into general-early-strength (indicated by N) and high early-strength ( indicated by R) 2 level. Therefore, general cement could be divided into 6 bands. (Specific indicators in Table 2 ) Table 2 also lists the initial setting time of cement and the stability of the technical indicators, EN197-2 final setting time of cement did not ask.
